DON'T COUNT MISTAKES I LOST TRACK OF THEM

( He's in trouble. He's Rodimus, the younger of Nova's two candidates for Prime, and he is absolutely in trouble. It's not his fault. He just happened to be somewhere where trouble results, although okay - that part isn't new.

And he knows exactly how he got here in the first place, it's the same as it always is.

Orion frowns at him every time he leaves the Primal Basilica dressed in a cloak - knowing full well that he's going to go to those places that Nova finds unlawful and unruly. Sure, the other Prime in training had attempted to stop him before, to no avail. That makes something twinge in Rodimus because he likes Orion, he really does.

Then again, most people like Orion 'Super Cop, Future Prime' Pax. Because apparently some people like having a career that's pointless once you know you'll carry the Matrix. He guesses that has to do with Orion having spent some of his life from out of Nova's influence - maybe that made you like police work.

Not that Rodimus would know what that's like - Nova snatched him up two days after he was forged, as if he knew exactly where to find him. Must be a 'wisdom of the Matrix' thing. Find your replacements before someone else does and what not. But it boiled down to the fact that he'd never really got to know or experience life outside the basilica walls and for every time Nova told him he shouldn't or couldn't go out - he did.

Which is how he ends up standing over someone he punched into a wall - thanks Galvatron and Cyclonus for teaching him that one - inadvertently starting a bar fight that he is determined to win. Rodimus is pretty sure that as a mysterious cloaked and hooded figure, he definitely looks awesome which negates the trouble.

[ He's still completely flustered, but he can get in a slight grumpy frown. ]

Well, if you're going to be spending the night and insist on sleeping on the couch...

It's big enough for two.

( He's going to go back to kissing him, however. Mostly because the combination between flustered and frowning is terribly attractive. )

[ Good, because he's about to see a lot of it. ]

I... Thought perhaps you would like company.

[ And he's just going to. Spread his legs a little. It seems too forward to shift himself enough to wrap them around Rodimus, but he might be intuitive about this at least. ]

( That smug look is not going to go away any time soon, because Rodimus can take an obvious hint like that and follow through - sliding between his legs while still managing to kiss him. The hand on his hip slides down one of Minimus' legs to hike it up to his waist as he presses him further into the couch. )

Only if it's the green and mustached kind.

[ He shivers again, arching up into the touch and against Rodimus. ]

Well. Yes, I was hoping that would be your preference.

Definitely is.

( He pulls back enough to give Minimus a quick grin before pressing his lips to the energon pumps and lines of his neck, dragging his tongue along them. )

[ He makes a soft, low noise, head falling back and hands tightening briefly on Rodimus' frame, hard enough to dent before he gets himself under control and loosens his grip. ]

Sorry, I- It's been a while.

( That sends a shock running through his system, and the sound he makes against Minimus's neck surprises even him. It's not one of pain, but he files it away to be examined later. )

No offense, Minimus, but I kinda gathered.

( One of his hands encourages Minimus to put his other leg up around his waist and then he presses closer to Minimus again, shoving him against the couch. He's going to be smug about it forever, and Minimus should really just get use to the feeling of his grin when he kisses him again. )

[ He wraps his legs around Rodimus' waist at his urging, pressing himself as close as he can get to him as he kisses back. He's still holding back, trying not to be too needy, but he can't stop his fans from kicking on, pushing heated air out of his systems. ]

( The sound of Minimus's fans only encourages him, and Rodimus breaks the kiss and pulls back only far enough so he can see Minimus's face while giving an experimental roll of his hips against the other bot. One hand goes to grip the couch next to Minimus's head while the other skims up and down Minimus's side - pushing aside paneling to expose the wires underneath before he stops. )

Your armor.

( Please let it not be a problem. )

Rodimus- [ It's an effective combination. His hips buck up to meet the movement of Rodimus' hips. He brings one hand to his mouth, trying to stifle the sound, his voice synthesizer tripping on a moan.

The not-question doesn't really register. ]

...What?

( He could definitely stand to hear Minimus sound like that more often, especially saying his name. They're definitely going to continue down this line, but-- )

Can we do this when you're in your armor? Fragging, I mean.

What- I- [ His optics widen and the hand at his mouth goes to cover his face. He knows this is part of it, he knew this would happen, but that didn't really mean he was ready for it. ]

Yes.

Really? ( He sounds almost impressed, fingertips dancing over the wires under them until he gets bored with that and slides them down to brush against Minimus' interface panel. Which is also probably a poor time to be nuzzling the side of Minimus' face, but then again since when has he cared. )

Cool. ( A beat. ) Did Ratchet know? Because he fixed the armor up last time.

[ The noise he makes is... undignified to say the least. High and static laced. He writhes at the touch to his interface panel, turning into Rodimus' nuzzle.

The next question has him sputtering. ]

Rodimus!

What? If Ratchet fixed everything but that--

( But his tone is more amused than anything else, too concerned with the sounds he can get Minimus to make. Each one has sent what feels like an electric shock through him and he wants more. He'll settle for kissing him again, dragging his fingers across the panel in one smooth motion. )

[ He presses the next sound trying to escape into the kiss, hips twitching at the touch on his panel. A soft click follows it and the panel slides back. Minimus turns out of the kiss just long enough to murmur. ]

He- He didn't forget. I can. Feel you.

[ And that's just too much, he buries his face against Rodimus. Can they please stop talking about this now. ]

( Rodimus makes a pleased sound at the back of his throat, hand that isn't propping him up coming to ghost along the side of Minimus' helm before returning to his panel and - more importantly - his pressurizing spike. Which his hand wraps around with little warning. )

Good. Because I'd hate to drag you like this to him and tell him to fix it.

( He would, too. )

[ He tries to turn his head into the brief touch on his helm. He could... perhaps be less needy, at least a little less hungry for this touch. Any attempt to compose himself is immediately destroyed by the sudden grip on his spike.

His hips rock up into the touch. ]

Frag, Rodimus- [ His voice is embarrassingly close to a whine. ] You wouldn't.

I would.

( There's no disguising the smugness in his tone that seems to grow and grow. He's enjoying this, destroying Minimus' seemingly unflappable composure, and leans down to nuzzle the fuel lines of his neck again. )

That way he'd know exactly what the problem was and why he had to fix it.

( He kisses the tight cords of Minimus' neck at the same time he drags his hand upwards, grin evident. )

I don't-

[ That's just cheating. The words and the smile against his neck and Rodimus touching him. Minimus shudders again, pressing himself up against Rodimus and clinging. ]

Don't what?

( Don't leave him hanging, Minimus. Another stroke before his hand falls lower, thumb brushing the rim of his valve. He can feel his own frame heat, fans kicking on to vent some of the warm air out, almost surprised by how much he wants this.

But then again, maybe it isn't that surprising, all things considered. )

[ His valve is hot and already leaking lubricant, the brush to the rim pulling a whimper and squirm from Minimus. ]

I don't think that would constitute a medical emergency. [ See, he can still use words. Even if he sounds a little wrecked and is still clinging to Rodimus. ]

Maybe not for you.

( He's absolutely going to want to continue to see if he can pull those sounds from Minimus, and he doesn't mind the clinging in the slightest. Which, if he's playing his cards right, will only get worse - slipping one finger inside with no warning.

Rodimus leans forward again so he can whisper into Minimus' audials, voice tight. )

But definitely for me.

[ He could have overloaded on the spot. Instead his fingers dig into the armor he's clinging to, leaving small dents. His fans vent wide, cycling the hot air out as quickly as possible.

So much for using his words... Rodimus will have to do with the sound of his name being lost in a moan. ]
