wrong, i know, killing someone

( things starscream never thought he'd have to deal with again: metalhawk. mostly because once you kill someone you generally expect them to stay dead.

not so.

which is really inconvenient when you're desperately trying to cling to leadership after everything goes up in literal flames. he's debated attempting to kill metalhawk again, but that's going to take some planning and he thinks his 'friend' will see it coming. not like that's stopped people from doing what he wanted before, of course.

but this? this is getting old. really quickly oh primus why won't he just shut up. )

[The feeling was more mutual than Starscream knew. Not in the sense that he wanted to remain dead, but the fact that he now had to socialize with him was beyond a headache.

And you know, he might still be a tad bitter at the complete and utter betrayal. But who's keeping score?]

I love what you've done with the place.

[He barely even looks at the jet, instead surveying miles upon miles of wreckage and destruction.]

Remodeling, I assume.

[That's the icing on the proverbial cake, Starscream.]

I see.

[Can you feel the poison dripping from that? Because there was a ton.]

Well, I'm not here to kill you, if that's what you're thinking in that rather small processor of yours.

Some of us don't need to kill to gain something. It's an odd method, I know, but I've heard it's worked well in practice.

It appears that we have work to do. And seeing as I can't imagine Bumblebee or Prowl would like to speak with me at the moment, I'll put up with you.

[A slight pause.]

Working is actually putting effort towards achieving a goal. Other than...say, shooting it.

[Hello gun, yes. He's holding a gun.]

No matter how tempting it is.

To be fair, Megatron did stop the Necrotitan.

[You know, that thing you didn't do. However, that gun shifts to his arm, aimed up at a 'rest' position. Apparently you get to live for a little while longer.]

I could name a few things. But I have more use for you alive right now than dead. Which is really saying something.

Modesty isn't lost on you, is it, Starscream.

[Honestly, he was only half listening. What did he care who did what--he was being mind controlled at the time--something that wouldn't have happened if he was...you know, alive.]

My pacifism?

[There's a laugh. It's almost oddly sarcastic, coming from the bot in question.]

My pacifism is revoked when I deem it necessary. And believe me--I deem it necessary.

Oh it was. Just not for me.

[That gun is held upwards, resting on his shoulder as he looks out, towards the city they once called home. Together.]

Shockwave is planning something. And as loathe as I am to admit it, I'm going to need your help.

Whether or not you like it, is a whole different matter.

That might have been something you should have shared with the class.

[OH NEED A BANDAGE FOR THAT ONE?

He hesitates, though, at that last part.]

Your fists will do.

[UGH DOES HE REALLY HAVE TO OFFER HIM A WEAPON THATS IRONY AT ITS FINEST.]

[personal profile] unnailignment 2014-03-21 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
[Because some people learn from their mistakes, Starscream. SOME people. But for as much as he hates to admit it, he pulls a gun from one of the others, flipping it in his hand to hold it by the barrel.

Handle out to him.]

If you shoot anything that isn't an ammonite, you're next in my crosshairs.

[He can think of a few good reasons.

And he can almost read Starscream's mind, keeping his own gun locked and loaded right over where his spark would be walking to his side.]

We walk together. And yes, I've always thought that spontaneity seems to be the best battle plan of choice.

Almost? Perhaps I am not being convincing enough.

[He can only hope that smirk is shot off by him.]

Then what would you suggest, leader of Cybertron?
